Miss Claire turned one in October!
During the day we went to the park. She really enjoyed the dinosaur springy-things that you sit in.

After our week in DC we headed to Memphis to visit my dear sister Kadie. Mark was there for a week and Claire and I stayed for two. Why not?
We did lots of fun things while we were there.
Went to the park,
took family pictures,
went to the zoo,
went to the Pink Palace (the museum),
Pete’s work (aka “the station”) where Pete and Mark got to talk “nerd” and Claire got to push lots of buttons,
visited downtown (trolley ride, Bealle Street, Dyer’s for lunch, The Peabody Hotel to see the ducks in the fountain and the River Park (Mississippi River to scale that the kids can play in),
went bowling,
on a date to dinner and the corn maze,
launched rockets with Pete,
soccer games and practices,
the park,
climbed the slide,
played in the balls at Aunt Kadie’s,
had a trial 1st Birthday party because my whole family was there (except Mark),
and went to the pumpkin patch!
